For a family-friendly affair, slip into your coziest pajamas and head to the Tellus Science Museum on December 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the Holiday PJ Party + Festival of Trains. Join the Lawrenceville Hometown Holiday Parade on December 2 for a more traditional celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This festive extravaganza in Downtown Lawrenceville features floats, marching bands and even Santa himself, spreading joy and merriment throughout the streets.

On December 9 from 4 to 8 p.m., make your way to the Christmas Festival in Hampton, where Landrum’s CandyCane Drop steals the show. Enjoy a selfie snow globe station, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a tree lighting ceremony, food and craft vendors, Christmas characters, face painting, inflatables and an arts consortium art show – a perfect way to create cherished family memories.
If you can’t make it on December 9, kick off the holiday season on December 1 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Holiday Festival & Tree Lighting in Stockbridge. Capture the magic of the season with pictures with Santa, live entertainment, a holiday train ride, face painting and a visit to the Holiday Village.

Experience the charm of a bygone era at the Hofwyl-Broadfield Annual Christmas Tour on December 1 and 2. Stroll along illuminated paths under ancient oaks, tour the antebellum rice plantation and witness pre-Civil War re-enactments. Enjoy hot wassail, cookies and a special visit from Santa Claus. Tickets range between $5 and $10 depending on the visitor’s age.
