New Buckhead Enclave by Jim Chapman Communities is Now Selling

ATLANTA – Vinings-based Jim Chapman Communities is developing a 12-home enclave just off Moores Mill Road in Buckhead near the newly-developed Westside Village.  When completed, The Homestead at Ridgewood Heights will include elegant, four-bedroom, four and a half bath, two and three story single family homes priced from $1.1 million – $1.3 million.  Seven of the homes border woodlands and options include elevators, full basements and three car garages.

“I believe this is the only new home development at this price point in Buckhead’s coveted Morris Brandon school district,” said Jim Chapman, president of Jim Chapman Communities.  “The Homestead at Ridgewood Heights is attracting great interest from young families. The location is in a strong public school district, and also close to several prestigious private schools including Lovett, Westminster and Pace Academy.  Working parents have easy access to Buckhead, Midtown, Downtown and the Westside, and since the homes are situated on a private road just off Moores Mill, there’s no through traffic, which is wonderful when children are playing outside.”

The 12 homes within the enclave feature unique exteriors of painted brick with stone accents.  The open, modern floor plans were designed by Mary Bairstow, onsite agent and an award-winning designer with years of new home construction experience in Buckhead.  The interiors are customizable and include 10-foot ceilings on the main level and 9-foot ceilings on the second floor, high-end finishes, covered porches and outdoor living spaces with fireplaces.  Because there are no common exterior design elements, each home has its own personality, giving the neighborhood the feel of having grown organically over time.

“We have three homes ready for immediate occupancy, as well as two pre-sales under construction and a homeowner already living in the community,” said Bairstow.  “People love the quality and wonderful selection of colors and interior finishes. Outdoors, the professional landscaping is maintained by the Homeowners’ Association.  The common areas and yards are mowed and blown off weekly and seasonal plantings are installed regularly. Busy families appreciate being able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, with no yard work required!”

Future plans call for the installation of two “Little Libraries” at The Homestead at Ridgewood Heights: one for adults and one for children.  There will be neighborhood cook-outs, special programs like flower arranging and much more. Only nine homes remain unsold. The Homestead at Ridgewood Heights is located at 1710 Barclay Close.  For GPS coordinates, enter 1740 Moores Mill Road, Atlanta, GA 30318.
