We are living in unprecedented times. Seemingly overnight, businesses have had to make fast, decisive changes to keep customers and employees safe and healthy as the coronavirus began to spread. Thankfully, the home building industry was already equipped with the technology to assist home buyers virtually and, when you are ready, in person. We have enhanced our online information and assistance programs and strengthened our onsite safety protocols to protect our home buyers, residents and employees.
We began by temporarily suspending onsite appointments so we could deep clean and thoroughly disinfect all of the common spaces within our communities and establish a frequent and thorough recleaning schedule. This includes our model homes, clubhouses, onsite sales areas and more. At the same time, we expanded our online presence with more detailed virtual tours, drone footage, community videos, floorplans and photos to help buyers become better acquainted with our communities from the safety and comfort of their own homes.
Our onsite sales agents have expanded their roles to also serve you as virtual agents, available through Facetime, Zoom, live chats, phone, text or email to answer your questions and offer guidance. They will “walk” you through a model in real time, answering your questions and showing you the features you are most interested in, while you remain safely at home. When you are ready to visit one of our communities in person, you can ask for a private appointment, with all social distancing guidelines observed. Based on your comfort level, you can choose to tour our model home with an agent, or use our new Enter Now technology, which provides electronic, touchless entry into our homes so you can explore them on your own.
Buying and selling homes does not stop during a pandemic. In fact, after sheltering in your existing home for several months, you may be more ready than ever to move into a Jim Chapman Community! We are open and ready to safely welcome you home.
